Es comunicadora social, Egresada Magna Cum Laude de la Universidad Dominicana O & M extensión Puerto Plata con especializaciones en: Comunicación Integral de la Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo (UASD), Periodismo de Investigación Internacional (INTEC), Certificación Practitioner NLP (INTEC), Empresarialidad Femenina (Programa Mujer Emprende y Escala UNPHU-Banco BHD).

Es Editora y Directora Fundadora de la Revista SOMOS, publicación trimestral con ya 17 años en el mercado que circula a nivel regional-nacional con una fuerte presencia en la zona Norte del país y que es un producto editorial de su empresa CREARTEX POP, SRL.

Su formación es mixta ya que ha realizado estudios en Publicidad, Artes Plásticas y Fotografía en la Escuela de Diseño de Altos de Chavón. En su haber artístico es reconocida como artista multidisciplinaria con más de una veintena de exposiciones individuales y colectivas nacional e internacional sus obras se exhiben en República Dominicana, México, New York y Suiza.

Ha sido galardonada con premios internacionales de fotografía y como poeta, ganadora del Premio Único de Poesía Emilio Prud ́Homme de la Categoría Adultos del Concurso Literario Nacional “Por Nuestro País Primero” de la Sociedad Cultural Renovación (2012) y del cual fue publicado el libro de poesía “ROJO CORRE”.

Ha recibido múltiples reconocimientos como mujer empresaria y emprendedora directora y fundadora de un medio de gran impacto social como es SOMOS Magazine RD. Derissé De León es una empresaria destacada por su constante innovación e inversión en capacitación personal y grupal además de su activa presencia en conferencias, paneles, talleres y actividades formativas con personalidades del ámbito social nacional e internacional; a través
de la plataforma formativa @somosimpulsard ha impartido en conjunto a otros coaches diversas formaciones en las áreas de liderazgo, finanzas, emprendimiento y empoderamiento.

Es miembro de la Federación Internacional de Mujeres Empresarias (FEM) en la cual funge como segunda vocal en la actual directiva además es miembro del Colegio Dominicano de Periodistas (CDP), de la Asociación Dominicana de Prensa Turística (ADOMPRETUR)y del Sindicato de Locutores Carlos González de Puerto Plata (SINLOP).

A nivel internacional es Miembro de la International Assotiation for Neurolinguistic Programming de Suiza (IANLP) y practitioner de Points of You Academy con certificaciones que avalan su carrera de Coach Neuroprogramadora.

She is a social communicator, graduating Magna Cum Laude from the Dominican University O & M, Puerto Plata campus, with specializations in Comprehensive Communication from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo (UASD), International Investigative Journalism from INTEC, NLP Practitioner Certification from INTEC, and Women’s Entrepreneurship through the “Mujer Emprende y Escala” Program (UNPHU–Banco BHD).

She is the Founder, Editor, and Director of SOMOS Magazine, a quarterly publication with over 17 years on the market, distributed regionally and nationally, with a strong presence in the northern region of the Dominican Republic. The magazine is an editorial product of her company, CREARTEX POP SRL.

Her background is diverse, having studied Advertising, Fine Arts, and Photography at the Altos de Chavón School of Design. As a multidisciplinary artist, she has held more than twenty solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Her works have been displayed in the Dominican Republic, Mexico, New York, and Switzerland. She has received international awards in photography and poetry, including the Emilio Prud’Homme National Literary Award (2012) in the Adult Poetry category for her collection “ROJO CORRE.”

She has received numerous recognitions as a businesswoman and entrepreneur, and as the founder and director of a media outlet with strong social impact—SOMOS Magazine RD. Derissé De León is recognized for her constant innovation, commitment to personal and team development, and active participation in conferences, panels, workshops, and training sessions with national and international leaders. Through her educational platform @somosimpulsard, she has co-facilitated programs on leadership, finance, entrepreneurship, and empowerment alongside other professional coaches.

She is a member of the International Federation of Business Women (FEM), currently serving as Second Vocal on its executive board. She is also a member of the Dominican College of Journalists (CDP), the Dominican Association of Tourism Press (ADOMPRETUR), and the Carlos González Broadcasters’ Union of Puerto Plata (SINLOP).

Internationally, she is a member of the International Association for Neurolinguistic Programming (IANLP) in Switzerland and a Practitioner certified by the Points of You Academy, credentials that endorse her career as a Neuroprogramming Coach.
